Hon. Seye Gbaroye Consolidates Grassroots Support with a Landmark Yuletide Outreach Across the Constituency

In a heartfelt demonstration of leadership, community spirit, and philanthropy, Hon. Seye Gbaroye, a leading aspirant in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Oyo State, under the Peoples Democratic Party, has launched a comprehensive festive outreach program. The program involves distributing essential food items, Christmas packages, and cash gifts to several of households, political leaders, members, and stakeholders across his constituents in Egbeda and Ona-Ara Local Government.

As the holiday season reaches its peak, Hon. Gbaroye’s initiative aims to alleviate the economic pressures facing many families, ensuring that the joy of Christmas is felt.

The outreach, which commenced last week, saw the distribution of bags of rice particularly in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency.

Direct cash grants were also extended to some constituents. Team Omo Wa 2027 in Egbeda and Ona-Ara were also included in the distribution exercise.

“Christmas is a season of love, reflection, and sharing,” said Hon. Seye Gbaroye during the flag-off ceremony. “I understand the challenges our people are facing, and it is my priority to ensure that no member of this constituency feels forgotten during this celebration. Putting a smile on the faces of my people is the greatest gift I can receive as their representative.”

Constituents turned out in large numbers to receive the gifts, expressing profound gratitude for Hon. Seye Gbaroye’s consistent “people-first” approach. Local community leaders praised Hon. Notorious cultist, Oko-Ilu arraigned in court on nine counts in Osogbo

A wanted cultist in Osun State, Hammed Rasheed, 29, popularly known as Oko-Ilu has been charged to court. Oko-Ilu was brought to court by the Police before the Chief Magistrate Olufemi Ayilara of the Osogbo Magistrate Court on Wednesday. The suspected cultist was charged with nine counts bordering on murder, unlawfully killing two persons, disruption of public peace, cultism and others. He was charged with the death of Hassan Adedeji, one Idowu (A.K.A Delta) and the shooting of one Inspector Gbenga Eke. The charge sheet brought to court by the Police Prosecutor, Inspector Elisha Olusegun was not read in the court as the Magistrate did not take Oko-Ilu’s plea. A magistrate’s court sitting in Wuse, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, has remanded Prof Zainab Duke Abiola in Suleja Prison over the assault of Inspector Teju Moses, a police orderly attached to her. A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama has convicted the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa for contempt of court in relation to his agency’s failure to comply with an earlier order of the court.
