ABIBOL RALLIES OJOMU BALOGUN VOTERS TO BACK ADATO FOR QUALITY REPRESENTATION

Prominent grassroots mobilizer and political stakeholder, Abdulfatai Jimoh (Abibol), has called on the people of Ojomu Balogun Constituency in Offa Local Government area to give their overwhelming support to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kwara State House of Assembly, Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi (Adato).

According to Abibol, Adato possesses the character, competence, and commitment required for continuity of effective representation and ensure that the voices of the people of Ojomu Balogun Constituency are heard at the Kwara State House of Assembly.

He noted that the constituency deserves a representative who will prioritize the welfare of the people through quality legislation, youth empowerment, improved education, infrastructural development, and regular engagement with constituents.

Notorious cultist, Oko-Ilu arraigned in court on nine counts in Osogbo

A wanted cultist in Osun State, Hammed Rasheed, 29, popularly known as Oko-Ilu has been charged to court. Oko-Ilu was brought to court by the Police before the Chief Magistrate Olufemi Ayilara of the Osogbo Magistrate Court on Wednesday. The suspected cultist was charged with nine counts bordering on murder, unlawfully killing two persons, disruption of public peace, cultism and others. He was charged with the death of Hassan Adedeji, one Idowu (A.K.A Delta) and the shooting of one Inspector Gbenga Eke. The charge sheet brought to court by the Police Prosecutor, Inspector Elisha Olusegun was not read in the court as the Magistrate did not take Oko-Ilu’s plea. A magistrate’s court sitting in Wuse, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, has remanded Prof Zainab Duke Abiola in Suleja Prison over the assault of Inspector Teju Moses, a police orderly attached to her. A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama has convicted the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa for contempt of court in relation to his agency’s failure to comply with an earlier order of the court.
