I, act on the instructions of the OYOSTATE PDP EXECUTIVES and the entire Peoples Democratic Party members, Oyo State Chapter, hereinafter referred to as PDP OYOSTATE.

It has come to our notice that you, “Mr. Michael Ogunsina” have been representing and parading yourself to the public, members of the press,and party stakeholders as the “Publicity Secretary/ Spokesperson of Oyo State PDP” a position you never held.

In one of your recent publications you stated and I quote as follows;

“Dear Leaders, Elders, Stakeholders and Candidates of the APM in Oyo State,

I will like to inform us all that there will be an unveiling ceremony for the Deputy Governorship candidate of the APM in Oyo State.

The event will take place at Oyo State PDP Secretariat, Òkè Ado, Ibadan

Time is 9am.

1. You are not an elected or appointed Publicity Secretary of Oyo State PDP.

2. The duly recognized and subsisting Publicity Secretary of Oyo State PDP is “COMRADE AKINLOYE OYENIYI” ,as confirmed by the Party Constitution and the last State and National Congress held on 14th March 2026 and 29th/30th March 2026, respectively.

3. Your actions in granting interviews, issuing press releases, and speaking on behalf of the Party constitute a thorough impersonation, false representation, and conduct likely to mislead the public,contrary to the PDP Constitution 2017 as amended and the Electoral Act 2022.

By the authority vested in me, we hereby demand that you:

1. Immediately cease and desist from holding yourself out, publicly or privately, as Publicity Secretary or Spokesperson of Oyo State PDP.

2. Retract and apologize publicly through the same media platforms where the false representation was made, within 7days of receipt of this letter.

3. Hand over to this office any party letterhead, stamp, ID card, or materials bearing the PDP logo in your possession, if any, which I believe is fake and forged.

Take notice that should you fail to comply with the above demands within 48 hours, we shall be compelled to institute both civil and criminal legal actions against you without further notice for your a.Impersonation and fraudulent misrepresentation

Notorious cultist, Oko-Ilu arraigned in court on nine counts in Osogbo

A wanted cultist in Osun State, Hammed Rasheed, 29, popularly known as Oko-Ilu has been charged to court. Oko-Ilu was brought to court by the Police before the Chief Magistrate Olufemi Ayilara of the Osogbo Magistrate Court on Wednesday. The suspected cultist was charged with nine counts bordering on murder, unlawfully killing two persons, disruption of public peace, cultism and others. He was charged with the death of Hassan Adedeji, one Idowu (A.K.A Delta) and the shooting of one Inspector Gbenga Eke. The charge sheet brought to court by the Police Prosecutor, Inspector Elisha Olusegun was not read in the court as the Magistrate did not take Oko-Ilu’s plea. The Magistrate, Ayilara remanded him in Ilesa prison and adjourned the case till October 7. A magistrate’s court sitting in Wuse, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, has remanded Prof Zainab Duke Abiola in Suleja Prison over the assault of Inspector Teju Moses, a police orderly attached to her. The professor was arraigned alongside her domestic aide, Rebecca Enechido, on Friday. In a video clip that went viral on Wednesday, the officer was seen seated on the floor and asking to be taken to the hospital for medical attention while bleeding. The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) appears to be over after the leadership of the party reached a truce with the PDP G5 governors. Members of the PDP G5 Governors, led by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, have been at loggerheads with Atiku, after Wike failed to win the party’s presidential ticket. A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama has convicted the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa for contempt of court in relation to his agency’s failure to comply with an earlier order of the court.
