Abibol Presents Campaign Vehicle to Adato Ahead of 2027 Kwara Assembly Election [PHOTOS]

A prominent supporter and political loyalist, Abdulfatai Jimoh, popularly known as Abibol, has presented a campaign vehicle to Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi, popularly known as Adato, in support of his re-election bid to the Kwara State House of Assembly.

The presentation took place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with loyalists, supporters and party faithful in attendance as the campaign machinery for Ogunniyi's re-election bid gathers momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The branded campaign vehicle prominently carries the image and name of Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi (Adato), who represents the Ojomu/Balogun Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly. It also features prominent campaign images of the incumbent Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the current governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi, reflecting the broader political team and leadership associated with the campaign.

At the presentation, Abdulfatai Jimoh (Abibol) and Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi (Adato) were captured exchanging a handshake, marking the formal handover of the vehicle and symbolising the support behind the lawmaker's re-election effort.

The colourful presentation also attracted a gathering of party faithful and loyalists, who joined in photographs with Abibol and Adato beside the campaign vehicle. The gathering underscored the grassroots support and activities already taking shape ahead of the 2027 electoral contest.

Notorious cultist, Oko-Ilu arraigned in court on nine counts in Osogbo

A wanted cultist in Osun State, Hammed Rasheed, 29, popularly known as Oko-Ilu has been charged to court. Oko-Ilu was brought to court by the Police before the Chief Magistrate Olufemi Ayilara of the Osogbo Magistrate Court on Wednesday. The suspected cultist was charged with nine counts bordering on murder, unlawfully killing two persons, disruption of public peace, cultism and others. He was charged with the death of Hassan Adedeji, one Idowu (A.K.A Delta) and the shooting of one Inspector Gbenga Eke. The charge sheet brought to court by the Police Prosecutor, Inspector Elisha Olusegun was not read in the court as the Magistrate did not take Oko-Ilu’s plea. A magistrate’s court sitting in Wuse, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, has remanded Prof Zainab Duke Abiola in Suleja Prison over the assault of Inspector Teju Moses, a police orderly attached to her. A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama has convicted the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa for contempt of court in relation to his agency’s failure to comply with an earlier order of the court.
